Approximate age:142,500 years old=average of minimum (0.049 Ma) and maximum (0.236 Ma)

Dating reference: Lower age (236) a is a minimum maximum age (WTF?). In other words (H. Gilbert's interpretation), the maximum age could be higher. More honestly stated... there is not a good date on this locality: Patnaik, R., Chauhan, P. R., Rao, M. R., Blackwell, B. A. B., Skinner, A. R., Sahni, A., et al. (2009). Notes: The Narmada cranium is difficult to classify. It is somewhat larger-brained (~1200cc) than classic Homo erectus but does not fall outside of the range. It is classified here as advancedHomo erectus.
